Words on the street
Criticism is my cup of tea any day but if you cannot handle it then handle yourself.Of late i have been having this desire to bash or rather speak 'negative' truths about what my eyes cannot tolerate anymore. Why the 'hen' would someone want to push herself too much so that she can be accepted in a certain fraction of people?(i need no answer;i have it all in my head).Going out of her comfort zone just to prove herself worthy before the eye's of people in the fraction she is dying to be part of.What happened to self-esteem and self value?or in the twenty-first century it is all about being a copycat.Aye i am used to all the hashtags people use to defend themselves but they do not know that they are publicly embarrassing themselves because they are used to following people around without giving their brains chance to think.Just to mention,Peter Tosh-that's if you even have any idea who he is_but let me crush it down for you;A reggae artist. One of the best part in a lyrics of one of his songs,he sang,"it is not the dress a girl wears that makes her a lady...she maybe just a second-hand girl."No offence but arguing from that angle, many girls are second-hand in a way that they cannot uphold their beliefs about themselves and they have abandoned their originality.I am not judging anyone but just not minding my own business.Lies that surrounds her are clearly evident behind her cheesy smile and even her alluring soprano.Civilization does not entail abandoning your true self just to become like someone else of which it adds no value to your poor self.Let's be clear,i am in no position to judge but i have all the right to use words to put my point across. She might know everything but she does not know everything.A little faith in herself cannot cost her compared to the means she would use to be a p.f(pubic failure).People talk of upholding the African culture but i campaign for people to uphold their natural characters.
I love your work of art.God bless your work.
