Time travel changes

At times you miss the people in your circle,
Maybe a bit too more,
Most of whom you do not talk anymore,
While some are no longer around,
There was this time they were around,
But had a lot to go after so as to hold onto,
Still refer to you as a friend,
It is not wrong but may seem insincere,
All they hear about is your behavior,
But reality is that you changed,
Managed to get out of a cage,
A cage whose wage was untrue.
