I am what I am

I no longer have a soft spot in my heart.I have tried growing hard and giving myself a harder self drive.I have remained quiet,distant and discreet for a while so as to understand myself.Even though when I look back at my past I see a few rights and many wrongs,it does not reflect the kind of person I am.Call me arrogant or egocentric but if I can care about another human being whether I share in life with or not then that squares it off.
