Behind closed eyelids

Beings conceal some truths about self,
Some are always true to self,
A being cannot be entirely good or bad,

But only self knows self in depth,

Realities and facts remain,
Life is like deep thoughts,
Thoughts beyond norms,
Constantly being normal in an abnormal world,

At times one take hits meant for other beings,
Ups and downs are ever present in some phases of life,

Life is never close to fair,

Yet life is incredible.
