Battered not broken

Being beaten at your own game,

It always takes a toll on one's self-being,

But again even the strongest of beings fall apart,

Brighter days do not make burdens any lighter,

Laughter is one of the ways towards relief,

Forbearance can at times be a cruel cage,

The art of silence is necessary in this world and age,

In some circumstances to give in is to win big,

Not everyday every being walks on the path of righteousness,

Although ironic but at times vices clear-cuts a person,

Misfortunes tend to follow one after another but should not surpass one's grit,

When one has life he/she must always try to take a grip of it with less griping but more thanksgiving.
