Dark night

Awake all night,
Maybe a watchman,
Or maybe just a man out to watch,
Moonless night full of darkness,
I am no knight of the dark,
But it is so calm that i cannot duck out,
A night different from another,
Maybe a mark of a goodnight sleep that might come with a dream.
