Defining a being

Darkness has become the new bright,
Humans defining other beings by looks,
Just like a book,
Preface gives context of a book,
But humans unlike books,
They are like folded chapters,
Few major but many minor characters,
What matters is who a person is from in within and not who the eyes see,
Beings can act normal even when nothing seems right,
Even a preface does not give a whole tale.
